For all of my life I have had the privilege to live and work in the beautiful countryside of Britain, from the granite hills and moors of Devon and Cornwall to the mountains of Scotland I have shaped my life. From the woodland glades to the high peaks , the nature of this land has inspired many, and yet there are those who might for lack of knowledge see themselves as somehow separate from this great nature.

What I would like to achieve here is an understanding, a preparation, a walk through the woods or a night on the moors where few will have noticed your impact, for with the right skills and knowledge you will leave little trace you were ever there.

With the right equipment and a good knowledge, your enjoyment of the countryside will be far enriched, it is truly amazing what the average person is able to achieve.
